Founder Foreword
The Inland Empire Tenant Match was founded to help circumvent the common problems with renting that occur from traditional methods. My process creates a more even playing field for both parties. After both housing providers and renters attend the Rental Match Academy and become more marketable they become better equipped to select an optimal match based on merit and good business practices.
I started out as a renter, I know what it’s like to have a good landlord and a bad landlord. I saw at least two generations of self-made rental property owners in my family. The problems I witnessed troubled me. Although initially I wanted no part of the business, I chose to enter the industry but with a determination to make positive changes and be part of solutions.
Driven by Passion
As an avid researcher and advocate with a thirst for knowledge I attended nearly every available training opportunity I could. I have now been an investment property owner for 30 years and have done what I could to bridge the gap between landlords and renters. I have discovered methods and simple practical techniques that help result in mutually beneficial renting matches.
I am passionate about people working out their issues amongst themselves if at all possible. This thinking motivated me to write and publish articles and books, become a certified mediator, and develop a few business methods intended to facilitate bringing together quality landlords and qualified tenants to form business matches for positive rental experiences.

During the rent moratorium, I did what I could to get the word out to encourage renters and landlords who qualified for aid to come together and apply.
